The Industrial Asset & Vehicle Valuation Engineer is responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and determining the fair market value of industrial assets, machinery, equipment, and vehicles. The role involves conducting technical inspections, applying appropriate valuation methodologies, preparing professional valuation reports, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
➤ Conduct inspections and technical evaluations of industrial assets, machinery, equipment, and vehicles. ➤ Assess the mechanical, structural, and operational condition of assets. ➤ Perform valuations using Market Approach and Depreciated Replacement Cost (DRC) methodology. ➤ Prepare accurate valuation reports and provide fair market value recommendations. ➤ Research market prices and evaluate depreciation, condition, and functionality of assets. ➤ Coordinate with clients regarding inspection findings and maintain valuation records. ➤ Stay updated on industrial equipment, automotive market trends, and valuation practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
➤ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. ➤ Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in industrial asset valuation, machinery inspection, vehicle valuation, or automotive engineering. ➤ Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, diagnostics, and asset evaluation techniques. ➤ Experience in preparing technical reports and valuation assessments. ➤ Excellent analytical, reporting, and communication skills. ➤ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and valuation/inspection tools.
