Nakheel unveils 700apartment complex on Dubai Water Canal

DUBAI, UAE – Dubai-based property developer Meydan has unveiled the first phase of what it has designated Canal Front Residences, a new residential community located at the Dubai Water Canal.
The latest addition to Meydan’s portfolio of luxury residential developments went on sale on Wednesday, a day after local real estate brokers were given a preview.
Located in the Jumeirah district, the Canal Front Residences comprise more than 700 one-two- and three-bedroom apartments across 11 buildings set among parks and communal green spaces. The first phase has 150 units across two five-story buildings.
The apartments feature floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, with sizes averaging 85 square metres for a one-bedroom apartment, 125 sqm for two beds, and 165 sqm for three-bedroom units.
A stone’s throw from Safa Park, the residences will also have onsite amenities including state-of-the-art gyms, swimming pools, multi-purpose areas, children’s play areas, and access to the canal cycling track.
They will also be nearby to Jumeirah Beach, an RTA water transport station, and major thoroughfares Al Wasl Road, and Sheikh Zayed Road.
Nakheel was the master developer of the famous Palm Jumeirah off the Dubai coast.
